The dr. Núria Galí is a full-time Associate Professor at the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Girona (UdG). Doctor from the University of Girona - Geography Program in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management -, Graduate in Humanities from the UAB, Maïtrise in Engineering and Commercialization of Tourist Products from the University of Toulouse, and Technician in Business and Tourist Activities from the Generalitat de Catalunya-INSETUR. She is currently the coordinator of the Master's Degree in Cultural Tourism at the UdG, and a member of the Academic Committee for Doctoral Studies of the UdG-UIB Interuniversity Tourism Program, which she coordinated between 2013 and 2016. Her research career has always been linked to the Institute for Tourism Research ( INSETUR) of the UdG, and the research group of the Multidisciplinary Laboratory of Tourism Research (LMRT), which he co-directed between 2010 and 2015. He is an active member of various networks in the field of tourism such as NECSTOUR, REDINTUR, UNITWIN, ATLAS , AECIT and UNIMED. Dr. Galí focuses on three main lines of research: 1. Visitor behavior in cities and heritage sites, with a focus on managing the tourist experience in congested urban spaces, using drones. She has published in various magazines and led the MINECO Project on this topic. 2. Analysis of the image of tourist destinations, exploring its influence on the behaviour of tourists. He participated in the Ministry of Science and Innovation Project on this topic and has published in journals such as Tourism Management and Current Issues of Tourism. 3. Research on tour guiding and the role of the tour guide, with recent publications in journals such as the International Journal of Tourism Research and the Scandinavian Journal of Hospitality and Tourism. He has examined the impacts of COVID-19 on tourism, especially on tour guides and on the role of the tour guide. visitor behavior.
